Listening comprehension: Wonderwall (B1 to C2)

Pre-task:

Task:

– Listen to the song. What´s the tone of the song? Who is he singing to? Why? What´s the message?
– Listen to it again. Which is the song´s chorus? Could you write it down? Figure out the main message the song has. Now read the lyrics and listen to the song at the same time. Confirm/check your ideas.
– Does the official video illustrate the song´s message? What´s your interpretation of it (and of the song)? In your opinion, what is a wonderwall?
– Read some other possible interpretations here. Do they coincide with yours? How?
